Tanner Mitchell

Houseplant Enthusiast and Boutique Plant Shop Owner

Tanner Mitchell has several years’ experience in interior scaping and growing houseplants. He is an expert in tropical plants and has a passion for helping people keep plants alive in their homes and to enjoy the gardening hobby.

Tanner has spoken at the Collin County Master Gardener’s Club, Celina Garden Club and has done several podcasts on gardening. At his presentation, Tanner will provide us with valuable insights and practical tips for nurturing indoor plants. He will cover essential topics such as the importance of light in houseplant growth, the art of watering houseplants to address common pitfalls of proper moisture levels, choosing the right potting mix and the importance of houseplant fertilization.

Tanner and his wife Erika own Famous in Oregon, a plant shop in Prosper, Texas. Please join us in August to become a caring and successful houseplant owner and not just be one of the many “I water my plants every Sunday” people out there!
