Mary Jacobs, author of Haunted Plano, Texas, will share ghost stories that have become part of Plano’s lore just in time for Halloween.
Mary collected ghost stories from inhabitants of Plano’s old buildings downtown, including the old rancher who many lodge members swear still stalks the Masonic Lodge; the Giggling Ghost, who loves peanut butter and pranks, and spooks the staff in the Cox Building; and the Evaporating Apparition, who once terrified thespians at the Art Centre Theatre.
She’ll explore eerie urban legends like the Goat Man, the Clown Threat and Ranch 111. Mary Jacobs is also a co-author of Hidden History of Plano.
