Our selections are wide-ranging and exciting, we've read biographies, memoirs, life experiences, real life drama, to name a few, and our members can always be counted on for a lively and stimulating discussion. Non-Fiction is not reference books or textbooks, as the saying goes - "sometimes Fact is stranger than Fiction". Come on out and read with us.

We don't do genealogical research at our meetings, but are a group sharing our finds, our discoveries and our brick walls. Our programs are from both guest and member speakers. We talk about "old stuff"--history, crafts, clothing, holidays, recipes, pictures, stories--anything from the past. We also talk about current topics, especially, new ways of finding descendants. Some subjects are serious and some are funny, but it's always an interesting time!

Forming Friendships is a group designed to help NFGP ladies get to know and develop meaningful friendships with others in the group. The idea is to enjoy and appreciate each other in new ways by learning more about one another through designated conversational topics and questions.  Meeting new people can sometimes feel like beginning a book in the middle without knowing what’s happened in earlier chapters. We hope to fill in some of the missing 'chapters' through this group.
